Have you ever been
in the presence of someone as they take their final breath? I have.
The first time occurred some 15 years
ago when my mother passed away while sleeping in my bed. It happened in the middle of the
night while I rested in the next room. I was awakened by the dramatic
silence.
Tonight I
was entreated with the privilege once again as my dear friend Les filled his tired lungs for the
last time and then lay peacefully still. I was standing there beside him, propped up with
pillows and comforted by his loving wife Mary, his sweet bride of 61 years. It was an
overwhelming experience once again to witness the departure of the spirit from the bondage of the
aged frame. I wept...we all wept and although for some the sorrow of the loss appeared for
just a moment there was a genuine sigh of celebration in recognition of a noble life that had
moved into transition. To see the lifeless shell that once was animated with grace,
laughter and purpose is a most sobering thing.
This is a tender time indeed, a time I
wanted to share while the love and gratitude were still full within my heart and heightened with
joy and deep respect.
To be in the presence of such a transition is so profound and
transforming.
I want
you all to know that I love you dearly and of that you can be certain.
Take a moment to touch someone close
and remind them of your undying love. Cherish each other and rejoice in the precious nature
of that which binds us all together.
The light can never be extinguished. It simply manifests in another garb,
arms outstretched asking nothing in return but love.
May you stay safe forever and may you
be surrounded by those who care when you make the final step into the next
dimension.
Namaste,
Dr. John
Wondering...
Saturday, March 8, 2008
Have you ever “waited’ for something to take place? Like waiting for your lottery ticket to finally be drawn. Have you ever been sitting quietly gazing out the window and asking yourself why you didn’t “do it”, why you didn’t “go for it” when you had the chance? Is there anything deep inside your life’s pocket that still lies hidden? Can you imagine yourself reaching out from the fog and grabbing hold of the comet that will take you at warp speed into the heavens and beyond? What separates you from the other side of the mirror?
Have you ever seen anything anywhere at anytime in your life and wish that you had it?
In order to achieve anything in life one must first imagine or visualize it. Nothing ever materialized out of thin air. If you can think it within your grasp then you can have it. That is an irrefutable law.
It’s never too late in life to play the game. We were all blessed with a vivid imagination and an unquenchable thirst for the truth. With a divine combination like that we can most surely tap into the infinite stream of abundance and manifest in our lives and the lives of others everything necessary.
Next time you see someone less fortunate know within your heart that you have the privilege to make a difference.
The next time a desire swells up within your soul know that it is only a deep breath away.
Catch the sparkle in someone else’s eye and wrap your love around it tenderly and smile from the source that connects us all.
Imagine a world where you cared more for others than you do for yourself. Imagine how safe that place would be, especially for the children.
We have the power to create a masterpiece out of not only our own personal lives but of the entire world.
What’s holding you back?
With love,
Dr. John
Timing
No one hears the message until they’re ready to receive it. In order to learn on the deepest levels there must be a complete link up of all the parts that we are. This is called freedom and arrives on the coattails of absolute responsibility. It becomes the umbilical cord to the infinite ooze. All true learning happens from the inside out. The reflection of our life is exactly what we have invited and when you realize that, there is an epiphany. Some might prefer to call it an “insight”. Whatever you call it, it still remains the same. When the light goes on the darkness disappears, never to return. All problems vanish and only solutions remain. Imagine that for just a moment. It’s like having the warmth of love inside your heart 24/7 keeping you safe and full of promise.
And the best part of all is that it’s right there all the time. Right here all the time. It’s everywhere all the time. Like a fragrant spring blossom opening forever.
Take some time today and disappear for a while. Whatever it takes to accomplish that, make it a priority. Then cheat just a little and add a few minutes.
Go for a stroll in the amber glow of the late afternoon and quicken your pace from time to time. Each time you breathe in take the energy deep into your core and step off the edge.
See you on the trail,
Dr. John
